Why patients choose us

Built for people who do not speak Chinese

Medicine is hard enough. Language, paperwork and unfamiliar hospitals should not be the extra burden.

Top-tier hospitals, one phone number

We secure appointments at Shanghai's leading public tertiary hospitals and international hospitals — including departments that are hard to reach from abroad.

Licensed patient escorts

Every escort on the ward is a certified, medically trained companion who stays with your patient from the hospital gate to discharge.

Medical-grade translation

Reports, imaging, consent forms and prescriptions are translated by clinicians, not general translators. You get a written copy in your language.

Transparent pricing

One written quotation before you travel: hospital fees, our coordination fee, escort and accommodation — itemised, in your currency, with no surprise additions.

We respect your culture

Halal food, gender preferences, prayer time, dietary needs and fasting during treatment are planned in advance with the hospital, not improvised on the day.

Insurance and travel handled

We process international insurance direct billing, help with visa letters and airport transfers, and keep a bilingual contact available 24/7.

Where we work

Shanghai hospitals we coordinate with

All major Shanghai tertiary (三级甲等) hospitals and international departments. We match you to the department that treats your condition — not to the biggest name.

  • Ruijin Hospital Cardiology, endocrinology, general surgery
  • Huashan Hospital, Fudan University Neurology, neurosurgery, dermatology, infectious disease
  • Shanghai Cancer Center, Fudan University Oncology, radiotherapy, chemotherapy
  • Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University Liver and gastrointestinal surgery, urology
  • Renji Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University Orthopaedics, gynaecology, ENT
  • Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital Plastic and maxillofacial surgery, dentistry
  • Shanghai Chest Hospital Thoracic and respiratory surgery
  • Changhai Hospital General and military hospital, broad specialty cover
  • Shanghai International Medical Center International department, English-speaking staff
  • Jiao Tong University School of Medicine affiliated hospitals Cardiothoracic surgery, transplant, urology

We arrange appointments as a patient facilitation service. All clinical decisions are made by the treating hospital.

Transparent pricing

Check-up and dental prices in five cities

Indicative ranges from public hospital price lists. Your actual price depends on your age, your condition and which hospital accepts you — we tell you the real figure in writing before you book anything.

Questions

Before you write to us

The questions patients ask most often.

Do I need to speak Chinese to be treated in Shanghai?

No. Your escort speaks your language and is present at every appointment. Medical records are translated so you and your family can read them. You will never be asked to make a medical decision without an explanation in a language you understand.

How much will the whole trip cost?

Medical fees are set by the hospital and depend on your diagnosis. Our coordination fee is quoted separately and in writing before you travel. You receive an itemised list covering hospital charges, our fee, escort, accommodation and transfers — in your own currency, with no additions later.

Can my insurance pay directly?

In many cases yes. We prepare the medical records and submit to your insurer for direct settlement. If your insurer requires reimbursement instead, we provide the documentation and invoices your insurer asks for. Confirm with us before travelling and we will tell you what your policy supports.

How long does a trip take?

A consultation-only visit is usually 3 to 5 days. Diagnostic workup takes 7 to 14 days. Surgery with recovery in Shanghai is typically 2 to 4 weeks depending on the procedure. We give you a realistic timeline after reviewing your records, and we do not promise dates before the hospital has agreed them.

Can my family come with me?

Yes, and many families do. We book apartments or hotel rooms within walking distance of the hospital, and can arrange travel and a companion visa for whoever you want to bring.

What about food, prayer and daily life?

We plan this before you arrive: halal or dietary requirements are discussed with the hospital kitchen, prayer space and timing are arranged, and female patients are assigned female escorts and, where the hospital allows it, female doctors. Tell us your requirements in your first message and we will write them into your plan.

Will you tell me the truth about my case?

Yes. We are a facilitation service, not a hospital, and we never give a diagnosis. But we will tell you plainly if a hospital declines your case, if the expected benefit is small, or if we believe travelling is not the right next step. We do not take a fee for cases we think should not travel.

What do you need from me to start?

Your reports, imaging and any biopsy or histology results, a short description of what is happening, and a way to reach you. Photographs of printed reports are fine. Send them on WhatsApp or email — there is no obligation after the first review.

Send us your reports. We will tell you honestly whether travelling is the right next step.
